Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and innovative transportation, delivery, logistics, and technology services throughout Benin and, in the future, other countries. This Privacy Policy applies to customers, drivers, couriers, riders, independent contractors, website visitors, business customers, referral program participants, support contacts, marketing recipients, and anyone whose information is processed through our Services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using any MX COMPANY Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue use of the Services.

Privacy is not simply a legal requirement; it is a core part of how MX COMPANY operates. 3. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs information collected through the MX COMPANY Customer Application, the MX COMPANY Driver Application, the MX COMPANY website, customer support communications, telephone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, email correspondence, social media interactions, promotional campaigns, referral programs, surveys, business partnerships, and any future products or services provided by MX COMPANY.
4. Definitions
"Account" means an account registered with MX COMPANY that enables a user to access the Services. "Customer" means a person or organization requesting transportation, delivery, courier, logistics, or other services through MX COMPANY. "Driver" means an independent contractor, courier, driver, rider, or service provider using the MX COMPANY Driver Application to accept and complete requests.
"Personal Information" means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including name, telephone number, email address, government-issued identification, vehicle registration, driver's license, payment information, GPS location, device identifiers, photographs, delivery addresses, IP address, usage information, or any information reasonably capable of identifying an individual.
"Processing" means any operation performed on Personal Information, including collecting, recording, organizing, storing, modifying, retrieving, using, transmitting, sharing, deleting, or destroying information. "Services" means all products, software, mobile applications, websites, APIs, technologies, logistics platforms, ride-hailing services, delivery services, payment systems, and related offerings operated by MX COMPANY. "Wallet" means the digital account maintained within MX COMPANY for credits, refunds, promotional balances, referral rewards, or other monetary value made available through the Services.
5. Information We Collect
To provide safe, reliable, and efficient Services, MX COMPANY collects different categories of information depending on how you interact with our platform. Some information is provided directly by you, some is collected automatically, and some may be received from trusted third parties.
A. Information You Provide Directly
You may provide information when you create an account, verify your phone number, contact customer support, request a delivery or transportation service, become a driver, refer another user, participate in promotions, submit reviews, upload documents or photographs, complete forms, or communicate with other users through the platform.
- Full legal name, first and last name, mobile phone number, email address, profile photograph, password or authentication credentials.
- Delivery instructions, pickup instructions, saved addresses, favorite locations, referral codes, emergency contact information where offered, customer support communications, feedback, ratings, survey responses, and business information for commercial accounts.
B. Identity Verification Information
To improve safety, prevent fraud, comply with applicable laws, and maintain trust on our platform, MX COMPANY may request identity verification information such as government-issued identification, driver's license, passport, national identity card, vehicle registration, insurance information, driver qualification documents, professional permits, selfie verification, and verification photographs.
C. Driver Information
Drivers may be required to provide additional information, including full legal name, date of birth, driver's license information, vehicle make, model, year, color, registration number, insurance information, vehicle inspection records, driver profile photo, banking or mobile money payout details, tax information where required by law, business registration information where applicable, and proof of legal authorization to operate.
D. Payment and OTP Verification Information
Depending on available payment methods, MX COMPANY may collect Mobile Money account details, wallet balances, wallet transaction history, card payment tokens, payment confirmations, billing records, refund history, promotional credits, referral rewards, outstanding balances, driver earnings, and driver commission calculations. For security reasons, MX COMPANY does not intentionally store complete payment card numbers unless permitted by applicable law and industry security standards.
To protect accounts and reduce fraud, MX COMPANY uses One-Time Password (OTP) verification. During verification we may process mobile phone number, verification timestamps, verification status, authentication attempts, device information, delivery status of SMS or WhatsApp verification messages, and fraud detection indicators.
6. Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use the Services, certain information is collected automatically to help us operate, maintain, improve, and secure the MX COMPANY platform. The information collected depends on your device, operating system, application settings, and permissions you have granted.
A. Device Information
MX COMPANY may collect device manufacturer, model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen resolution, mobile network information, IP address, mobile carrier, browser type and version, application version, device identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted by law, push notification tokens, security settings, crash diagnostics, performance metrics, battery status where necessary, and storage availability where required for functionality.
B. Location Information
Location information is essential for transportation, delivery, and logistics services. Customers may share current device location, pickup location, drop-off location, saved places, favorite locations, destination search history, or approximate location derived from IP address. Customers may manually enter addresses, although some features may not function properly without location access.
Drivers using the Driver App may be required to enable precise location services while online. Driver location information may include real-time GPS coordinates, route history, navigation progress, availability status, arrival times, trip start and end locations, idle locations while online, distance travelled, route efficiency, and time spent at pickup or drop-off. Where permitted by law and required for functionality, the Driver App may collect background location after permission is granted.
C. Trip, Delivery, Logistics, and Uploaded Content
MX COMPANY collects operational information relating to each request, including pickup address, drop-off address, route taken, estimated and actual route, distance, estimated and actual arrival time, trip or delivery duration, service type, vehicle type, package category, package weight or dimensions where applicable, delivery instructions, assigned driver and customer, completion status, cancellation reason, waiting time, fees, discounts, promotions, wallet deductions, cash collected, driver earnings, and referral rewards.
Certain Services may require photographs or other uploaded content, such as driver and customer profile photographs, vehicle photographs, inspection photographs, pickup or delivery confirmation photographs, proof of completed deliveries, damaged package reports, lost item reports, identity verification photographs, and support ticket attachments.
D. Communications, Referrals, Marketing, Cookies, Analytics, and Diagnostics
MX COMPANY collects information relating to communications through customer support, drivers, customers, business accounts, email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, in-app messaging, and telephone calls where legally permitted. Communication information may include date, time, sender and recipient identifiers, subject lines, support ticket numbers, message content, delivery status, read confirmations where supported, and attachments.
We may also collect referral codes, referral links, referral activity, reward amounts, reward redemption history, marketing preferences, campaign interactions, cookies and similar website technologies, analytics information, crash reports, diagnostics, and performance information to administer programs, improve the Services, optimize performance, and protect the platform.
E. Information from Third Parties and Aggregated Information
We may receive information from payment processors, Mobile Money providers, identity verification providers, mapping and navigation providers, fraud prevention services, marketing partners, authentication providers, government authorities where legally authorized, and law enforcement agencies acting under applicable law. We may aggregate or de-identify information so that it can no longer reasonably identify an individual and use it for analytics, service improvement, operational reporting, research, forecasting, market analysis, performance measurement, or public reports.
7. How MX COMPANY Uses Your Information
MX COMPANY processes Personal Information only for legitimate business purposes necessary to provide, maintain, improve, secure, and expand our Services. Depending on your relationship with MX COMPANY, your information may be used to create and manage accounts, verify identity, authenticate login credentials, verify phone numbers using OTP, enable supported authentication providers, prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts, recover accounts, update account information, and manage preferences.
We use information to provide transportation, delivery, and logistics Services, including receiving requests, matching customers with suitable drivers, calculating routes, determining estimated arrival times, optimizing driver assignments, navigating drivers, tracking deliveries and trips in real time, providing live updates, confirming successful deliveries, supporting multi-stop or multi-package deliveries, coordinating fulfillment, and providing proof of delivery where applicable.
We also use information to process customer payments and driver earnings, maintain wallet balances, calculate fees and commissions, process refunds and promotional credits, administer referral rewards, detect suspicious payment activity, maintain accounting records, resolve payment disputes, operate the driver platform, improve safety, prevent fraud and abuse, provide customer support, send essential communications, deliver marketing where permitted, conduct analytics, support research and innovation, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
8. Legal Bases for Processing Personal Information
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing Personal Information, MX COMPANY may process information to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests, or based on consent. Legitimate interests may include preventing fraud, improving platform reliability, enhancing security, conducting analytics, resolving disputes, protecting users, and developing new products and services. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time, although withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
9. Automated Decision-Making
MX COMPANY may use automated systems to support operational decisions such as matching drivers with customer requests, estimating fares, calculating estimated arrival times, detecting suspected fraud, identifying suspicious login activity, prioritizing support requests, preventing duplicate accounts, and improving route optimization. MX COMPANY does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects where prohibited by law without appropriate safeguards, including human review where required.
10. How MX COMPANY Shares Personal Information
MX COMPANY values your trust and does not sell Personal Information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share Personal Information only when necessary to operate our Services, comply with legal obligations, protect users, prevent fraud, or for other legitimate business purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We seek to limit shared information to what is reasonably necessary.
- Customers and drivers: to complete transportation and delivery services, including names, pickup and drop-off information, contact details when necessary, package details, vehicle information, driver location while fulfilling a request, estimated arrival time, trip progress, and delivery confirmation status.
- Service providers: cloud hosting, data storage, customer support, payment processing, identity verification, fraud prevention, analytics, mapping, email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, security monitoring, technical infrastructure, performance monitoring, software development tools, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Payment, authentication, identity, mapping, and cloud providers: to process payments, verify identity, authenticate users, provide routing, and operate secure infrastructure.
- Customer support providers and business customers: to resolve support issues and provide relevant business account reporting, invoicing, delivery confirmation, and expense information.
- Legal, emergency, business transfer, professional advisor, and consent-based disclosures: where required by law, to respond to emergencies, during corporate transactions, with lawyers, auditors, accountants, financial advisors, insurers, or when you authorize sharing.
11. International Data Transfers
As MX COMPANY grows, Personal Information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where it was originally collected. These countries may have different data protection laws. Some services available through MX COMPANY may be provided by independent third parties, including payment providers, mapping providers, mobile network operators, identity verification providers, authentication providers, and social login providers. MX COMPANY is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of these third parties. Users should review the privacy policies of any third-party services they use.
15. Protecting Your Personal Information
MX COMPANY is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Personal Information. While no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, we implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.

MX COMPANY will never ask you to disclose your password or OTP through unsolicited communications.
17. Data Retention
MX COMPANY retains Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We may retain information while your account remains active, to complete requested services, process payments and refunds, resolve disputes, investigate fraud, respond to support requests, comply with tax, accounting, legal, or regulatory obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When Personal Information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or securely destroy it unless continued retention is required by law.
18. Your Privacy Rights
